What you are buying
A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use Flint Capture on any Mac you personally own, or — for a multi-seat purchase — on the machines of the number of people you bought seats for. The licence does not expire.
It covers every 1.x release. A future 2.0 may be a paid upgrade; your key records the highest major version it covers, so nothing you own today stops working when that happens.
The trial
Flint Capture runs for 14 days without a licence, with no card and no account. When the trial ends, capture stops until you enter a key. Files you already saved are untouched and remain yours.
Refunds
Thirty days, no reasons required. If Flint Capture is not what you wanted, email support@flintcapture.com within 30 days of purchase and you will be refunded in full.
You do not have to justify it, and you are not asked to prove you uninstalled anything. There is a 14-day trial precisely so you can find this out before paying — but if the trial did not surface the problem, that is not your fault.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank. Your licence key is deactivated for future major upgrades but, because verification is offline, an already-installed copy will continue to run; you are asked to stop using it.
What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the app or your key.
- Share your key publicly. Keys carry the buyer's email for a reason.
- Remove or work around the licensing, or distribute a modified build.
Warranty
Flint Capture is provided as-is. It is tested on every build — including 137 automated interface checks — but no software is guaranteed to be free of defects, and it is your responsibility to keep copies of anything important. Liability is limited to the amount you paid.

Governing terms
These terms may be updated; the date at the top reflects the current version. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase already made.
